JBL Flip 6 is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker combining powerful sound with a rugged, travel-friendly design. It is a practical choice for seafarers who want a speaker for their cabin, crew recreation areas, shore leave or travel without taking up much luggage space.
The speaker delivers 30W RMS total output through a racetrack-shaped woofer and separate tweeter, supported by dual passive radiators for stronger bass. Bluetooth 5.1 provides wireless connectivity, while JBL PartyBoost allows two compatible JBL speakers to be paired for stereo sound or multiple speakers to be linked together. Sound settings can also be adjusted through the JBL Portable app.
Battery life is rated at up to 12 hours on a single charge. The IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating makes the Flip 6 well suited to outdoor and maritime environments. At approximately 17.8 × 6.8 × 7.2 cm and 0.55 kg, it is considerably easier to carry in crew luggage than larger portable speakers while still providing substantial sound output.
